Chancellor Rachel Reeves has faced criticism for controversial decisions, leading to a decrease in personal approval ratings from plus seven to minus 18. Polling by Savanta shows Labour’s lead on key issues like cost of living and taxation has also decreased, with many voters no longer trusting the party on these issues.
