Telangana Minister for Information Technology, Industries & Commerce D. Sridhar Babu announced the formation of a joint consultative committee on industries with CII and the launch of new policies on Global Capability Centres and IT. The committee will include special chief secretary-Industries and CII leaders to address industry issues, while new policies on GCC, IT, and Industries are expected to be introduced soon to consolidate Hyderabad’s position as a preferred destination for leading firms. The government has initiated measures such as an MSME policy, Young India Skills University, and support for the food processing industry to boost the rural economy.
