A 13-year-old boy stole his parent’s car in South Pasadena and led police on a brief chase, reaching speeds of 65 miles per hour before pulling over in Highland Park with a teenage passenger. The teen driver and his parent were cited for reckless evading and have an upcoming court appearance with the Los Angeles County Probation Citation Diversion Program. South Pasadena Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
