World’s tallest and shortest women meet for afternoon tea – and find plenty in common

Rumeysa Gelgi, the world’s tallest woman at 215.16cm, and Jyoti Amge, the shortest woman at 62.8cm, met for afternoon tea at The Savoy hotel in London to celebrate the 20th annual Guinness World Records Day. The two women, a Turkish web developer and an Indian actress, shared stories and experiences, bonding over their love for make-up, self-care, and nail care despite their extreme height difference. Ms Gelgi expressed her amazement at meeting Ms Amge, while the latter was delighted to finally look up and see the tallest woman in the world.
