A 92-year-old man, Ryland Headley, has been charged with murder and rape in connection with the death of 75-year-old Louisa Dunne in Bristol in 1967. Ms Dunne’s body was found strangled and asphyxiated in her home in the Easton area of Bristol nearly six decades ago. Headley, who appeared in court accompanied by his solicitor, was remanded into custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday, marking a significant moment in the investigation according to Detective Inspector Dave Marchant.
