Venture capital investment in European technology startups is expected to decline for the third consecutive year, but signs indicate stabilization as valuations improve and interest rates decrease. Atomico projects that European startups will secure $45 billion in investment by the end of 2024, slightly lower than last year’s $47 billion. Despite worsening global economic conditions, the firm emphasizes that European tech funding levels have stabilized and surpassed the total investment raised between 2005 and 2014, with startups securing $426 billion from 2015 to 2024.
