At Drummond Road near Barker Street in Niagara Falls, two women were struck by an alleged impaired driver, resulting in the death of a 44-year-old woman and serious injuries to a 31-year-old woman. The driver, John Franco Bonaldo, 31, of Niagara Falls, is facing charges including failing to stop after an accident resulting in death and operation while impaired causing death. Evidence linked Bonaldo to the hit-and-run incident, where he also crashed into parked cars on Culp Street.
