Football fans in London will hear special station announcements from Lionesses players including Alex Greenwood, Bethany England, Lotte Wubben-Moy, and Lucy Bronze as they travel across the city for a “historic weekend” in women’s football. This marks the first time all Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship games will be played in main stadiums, with matches at White Hart Lane and Stamford Bridge. The London Overground Lioness line, running between Watford Junction and Euston, will also be launched to honor the successful England women’s team, including their Euro 2022 championship and Women’s World Cup final appearance in Australia.
