The famous Winston Churchill portrait, known as “The Roaring Lion,” has returned to Ottawa after being stolen in an international art caper. The original artwork, snapped by renowned photographer Yousuf Karsh in 1941, will be reinstated at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel. Ottawa police tracked down the painting in Italy and charged a man from Ontario with forgery, theft, and trafficking.
