Army JCO, militant killed in J&K ops; 3 soldiers injured

In three separate ongoing operations across Jammu and Kashmir, a junior commissioned officer (JCO) of the Army’s special forces and a militant were killed, while three Army personnel were injured. The operations are taking place in Sopore, Zabarwan hills, and Kishtwar districts. The JCO was killed in a joint operation in Kishtwar, targeting infiltrators responsible for killing two village defence guards. Contact was established with the infiltrators in Keshwan forest area, leading to heavy exchange of fire and a continued search operation.
