Manufacturing led job growth with 1,500 more employed in the sector

In October, the unemployment rate in Windsor dropped to 8.8%, the highest in Canada, with a decrease of 300 unemployed individuals. The manufacturing sector showed positive growth, with 1,500 new jobs, and the construction sector remained strong. Despite the high unemployment rate, the region continues to attract new residents, with a population increase of 1,200 people.
