In the latest edition of the Power Rankings, ESPN staff analyze the preseason over/under point total futures from ESPN BET compared to each NHL team’s current points pace after one month of the 2024-25 season. The Winnipeg Jets are exceeding expectations with a 92.86% points percentage and a current points pace of 152.3, led by balanced scoring and standout goaltending from Connor Hellebuyck. The Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers are also performing well above their preseason projections, showcasing strong performances despite offseason changes and retaining their winning formulas.
