Kruger National Parks mourn Ben, the K9 patroller, who a crocodile killed 

After being attacked and killed by a crocodile while on duty, K9 Patroller Ben lost his life while quenching his thirst in a nearby river. Despite efforts by nearby rangers, Ben succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to anti-poaching efforts in SANParks. The loss of Ben serves as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifices made by K9 units and their handlers in protecting wildlife and preserving natural heritage.
