Port of Montreal: Employer will suspend 'salary guarantee' of dockworkers

The Association des employeurs maritimes (AEM) announced the suspension of the salary guarantee for dockworkers at the Port of Montreal starting Nov. 5 at 7 a.m., except for longshoremen in the bulk sector and essential services. This measure is intended to address the financial impact of ongoing strikes and reduced port volume, according to the association.
