Jason Moore, a towering figure at 6ft 5 with dark hair, was wrongly convicted of murder despite eyewitnesses describing the killer as shorter with a shaved haircut. Passerby Abdul Ahmed initially discounted Jason in an identity parade following the 2005 stabbing, but later identified him after admitting he was drunk at the time. Jason’s lawyers have submitted new evidence to the CCRC based on Ahmed’s admission, aiming to overturn his conviction.
