A DoorDash driver was slashed in the hand during an attempted carjacking in Melton, on the outskirts of Melbourne. The driver had dropped off food to Jess and Cadence Hart when four armed individuals approached his car, demanding the car key and ultimately slashing his hand before fleeing. The victim sought help from a nearby resident and medical clinic before being taken to Sunshine Hospital, while the offenders remain at large.
