Countries from the Global South have formed the Ministerial Alliance for Ambition for Nature Finance to champion nature finance targets set in the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, urging developed nations to provide $20 billion annually by 2025 and $30 billion by 2030. They emphasize the need to shift economies to protect nature, calling for improved reporting on international biodiversity finance and urgent action to meet the agreed targets.
