Syria Kurd force denies links to Ankara attack as Turkey strikes

The commander of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces denied any involvement in the deadly attack near Ankara claimed by PKK militants, following Turkish strikes on Kurdish-held Syria that killed over a dozen people in retaliation. Turkish President Erdogan blamed the attackers on Syria and vowed to continue fighting Kurdish militants, despite the SDF’s denial of involvement. The SDF leader criticized the US for a weak response and called for an end to Turkey’s ongoing attacks on Syria, warning of potential wider operations and the impact on Kurdish forces and civilian populations.
