Nico Echavarria sets course record, holds off pair to win at Zozo

Nico Echavarria won the Zozo Championship in Chiba, Japan by one stroke, finishing with a tournament-record 20-under 260, surpassing Tiger Woods’ 2019 total. Echavarria, a Colombian, also won the 2023 Puerto Rico Open and earned $1.53 million for his victory, moving to No. 65 in the FedExCup standings. Max Greyserman and Justin Thomas tied for second place, with Thomas narrowly missing his 16th career PGA Tour title.
