Another bumpy week ahead as Trudeau faces deadlines from Liberal MPs, Bloc

Liberal MPs have given Prime Minister Trudeau a deadline of Oct. 28 to respond to a letter asking him to resign, but Trudeau has stated he will stay on as leader. The Bloc has set a deadline of Oct. 29 for the Liberal government to pass legislation increasing old-age security payments and supply management, threatening to discuss toppling the government if they do not comply. Despite most Liberals voting against a Bloc motion to increase pensions for seniors, tensions remain high as deadlines approach.
