SC declines plea by NGO on punitive demolitions

Justice Gavai emphasized that only those directly affected by the demolitions could approach the court, labeling the actions as “bulldozer culture.” The court froze illegal bulldozer demolitions nationwide and plans to create guidelines against such actions to prevent authorities from disregarding the law.
