Three people have died at the Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage, Dorset, prompting an evacuation and an investigation by Dorset Police into the “unexplained” deaths. Emergency services, including ten ambulances and six fire crews, responded to the scene where four other individuals were taken to hospital and remaining residents were relocated to a nearby church. The home, which houses 48 elderly residents, some with dementia, is operated by Agincare, with gas distribution company SGN carrying out safety checks following the incident.
