Iraqi forces, with support from international coalition forces, killed Islamic State group commander Jassim al-Mazroui Abu Abdul Qader and eight other officials in an operation in the Hamrin Mountains. Prime Minister al-Sudani emphasized that there is no place for terrorists in Iraq and pledged to eliminate them. The identities of the other officials killed will be disclosed after DNA tests are completed.
