Israeli entrepreneurs, frustrated by the lack of progress in ceasefire negotiations during the year-long Gaza war, are offering financial rewards for the release of hostages. Former SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum is offering $100,000 for the return of any living Israeli prisoner in Gaza, with calls being screened for legitimacy. Israeli-American real estate developer David Hager is also raising funds for the cause, urging other businessmen to contribute towards a goal of $10 million to secure the hostages’ release.
