Minister for Children Roderic O’Gorman has requested Tusla to send its files on Kyran Durnin, an eight-year-old boy believed to have been killed up to two years ago, to a specialist panel for investigation. Kyran was reported missing in late August, with the last positive sighting in May 2022, prompting a Garda investigation into his disappearance. O’Gorman emphasized that there would be consequences if any State agency failed the child and has ordered Tusla to disclose the case to the oversight panel for review.
