Woman who drowned her three children ruled insane by judge

Liliana Carrillo, a Reseda woman charged with drowning her three children in April 2021, was found not guilty by reason of insanity by a judge. Carrillo, who was obsessed with Qanon conspiracies and unfounded notions of a sex-trafficking ring, admitted to the killings in a jailhouse interview. The father of the children, Erik Denton, stated that Carrillo was struggling with postpartum depression and made unfounded allegations of child abuse before the tragic incident occurred.
