Cyclists, pedestrians welcome revamp of deadly N.D.G. intersection

A cycling and pedestrian group in the Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough is supportive of proposed changes to a 500-metre stretch of de Maisonneuve Blvd. The changes aim to address safety concerns on the road, which has been the site of two fatal pedestrian accidents and numerous collisions since its last redesign in 2015. The improvements were presented during an online information session, with the borough emphasizing the need for a redesign due to the road’s complexity and high number of accidents.
