India Inks Mega Deal With US To Procure 31 Predator Drones

India signed a USD 4 billion deal with the US to acquire 31 Predator drones, boosting military capabilities along the China border. The agreement, finalized just before the US elections, includes MQ-9B ‘hunter killer’ drones for surveillance purposes. The drones, capable of carrying missiles and bombs, will be divided among the Navy, Air Force, and Army for various strategic purposes.
