Archaeologists recently discovered a tomb with 12 human skeletons and artifacts dating back at least 2000 years buried beneath the Khaznah monument in Petra, Jordan. Led by Dr. Pearce Paul Creasman, the team used ground-penetrating radar to confirm the existence of additional underground chambers beneath the Treasury. This finding confirmed years of speculation and led to permission from the Jordanian government to excavate the site further.
