The Delhi government has identified multiple sites for Durga idol immersion to ensure safety and compliance with environmental regulations, prohibiting immersion in rivers like the Sahibi River. With 31 immersion sites identified and comprehensive plans outlined, SDMs will oversee inspections and ensure necessary arrangements are in place, including water provision and cleanliness. Strict measures will be in place to prevent unauthorized idol immersion in the Sahibi River, with the Delhi Police and DDA patrolling the riverbank to enforce compliance.
