11 people were advised to see a doctor after a check-up in the Carrfields rural health van, with 19 patients found to have high blood pressure. During a recent stop at Ashburton’s Chemist Warehouse, 40 patients were seen, and 11 were referred for further medical attention. The Carr family foundation chairperson emphasized the importance of having the van present during medical emergencies.
