Michael Lynn enjoys ‘model prisoner’ status behind bars

The ‘greedy’ former solicitor who robbed €18m from the banks

FORMER solicitor Michael Lynn was transferred to Mountjoy prison’s Progression Unit following sentencing last week, where he enjoys a slightly more relaxed regime as a “model” prisoner.

On Monday the Mayo man was found guilty of stealing just over €18 million from six financial institutions during the Celtic Tiger era and was been jailed for five-and-a-half years.
