Badosa storms home to see off Pegula at China Open

Paula Badosa defeated Jessica Pegula in a 6-4 6-0 victory at the China Open, winning 11 of the last 12 games to reach her eighth career quarter-final at a WTA 1000 event. Badosa, who had never beaten Pegula before, came back from a 3-1 deficit in the first set and dominated the match. Despite Pegula being a challenging opponent, Badosa praised her solid play and flat shots, securing a significant win.
