Russian Salients Threaten Ukrainian Forces With Encirclement Near Pokrovsk

Russian forces are advancing toward the Donetsk town of Pokrovsk, seizing nearby areas, as reported. Oleksandr Humeniuk, a volunteer rescue worker, is evacuating civilians from the region as enemy troops approach, stating “The situation is really hard and getting harder.” Humeniuk has been helping residents in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions since the start of the war, and in Pokrovsk for the past month.
