In a tragic road crash on the A737 near Howwood, a woman and four horses lost their lives early on Monday, September 23. The incident involved a Mercedes A-class car and a MAN box van, with reports of six loose horses on the road around 3.10am. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the 59-year-old female passenger in the Mercedes was pronounced dead at the scene.
