Brisbane claimed their fifth NRLW minor premiership as the Sydney Roosters fell short in a dramatic season-ending win over Parramatta, with a 32-18 victory not enough to secure the title. A double to fullback Sam Bremner was not sufficient to overturn the Broncos’ lead at the top of the table on points difference. In the other Sunday fixture, Canberra defeated Gold Coast 16-12 to end their disappointing season on a positive note.
