Armed and dangerous suspect arrested in Joshua Tree following police chase

Deputies arrested Jonathan Rodriguez, 20, on Saturday afternoon after he shot at law enforcement during a pursuit in Joshua Tree. Rodriguez fired several rounds from a firearm while fleeing on foot in the 60800 block of Mountain View Trail around 3:30 a.m. Thankfully, no officers were injured during the incident.
