Mayor Dieter Reiter kicked off the 189th Oktoberfest in Munich by tapping the first beer keg, marking the official start of the festival. Thousands of beer enthusiasts gathered at the fairground to enjoy the world’s largest folk festival, clinking their mugs and indulging in the festivities as servers began delivering trays of beer to tables. The celebratory atmosphere was in full swing as revelers embraced the tradition of toasting and savoring the iconic event.
