Three organizations, Jamiii Forums, Smart Foundry Ltd., and The Launchpad Tanzania, emerged as winners of the U.S.-Tanzania Tech Challenge, addressing civic participation, media literacy, and information integrity. Jamii Forums will receive US$100,000 as part of the program, which brought together various stakeholders to explore innovative solutions to critical challenges in the tech space. The initiative involved leading technologists, government officials, civil society, academia, and media professionals collaborating to tackle important issues and drive progress in Tanzania.
