Deadlier Than COVID-19, Dengue Puts Survivors At Higher Risk Of Health Issues

A new study led by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore found that individuals who recover from dengue are at a higher risk of long-term health complications compared to those who recover from COVID-19, with a significant vulnerability to heart, brain, and immune system issues. Published in the Journal of Travel Medicine, the research tracked dengue survivors over a year and highlighted the increased health risks faced by this group.
