Sifiso Josaya Nzimande was sentenced by The Springs Regional Court to 10 years in prison for rape and an additional six months for theft on September 12. The crime occurred on June 29, 2020, when Nzimande approached the victim late at night. According to Ekurhuleni District SAPS spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela, Nzimande reassured the victim not to scream before committing the crime.
