Shots fired and house set on fire during attack in Charleville, Co Cork – The Irish Times

Gardaí are investigating a criminal damage incident by fire at a terraced house in Fortlands, Charleville, Co Cork. Emergency services responded to a call before 9pm where masked men smashed windows, attempted to set fire to the empty property, and fired shots inside. The house sustained extensive damage, and scenes of crime investigators from An Garda Síochána attended the scene.
