A man who killed four members of the same family in a Co Fermanagh house fire has been jailed for at least 29 years.
Daniel Allen (33) was sentenced today over the deliberate blaze near Derrylin in 2018.
Allen previously pleaded guilty to the murders of Sabrina Gossett (19), her 16-year-old brother Roman Gossett and her 15-month-old daughter Morgana Quinn, also known as Morgana Gossett.
He denied murdering his partner Denise Gossett but admitted manslaughter by reason of a suicide pact.
Mr Justice O’Hara said Allen will serve 29 years in prison before he can be considered for release, which taking into account time already served, will be in 2047.
The judge said Allen’s guilty pleas should have come earlier
“I conclude (the defendant) has a very dangerous part of his make up,” he told Belfast Crown Court on Wednesday morning.
“This is not a case of sudden loss of control nor an a detachment of reality,” he said.
He added: “There was a very dangerous and disturbing make-up that led to these deaths.”
