NASA successfully corrected Voyager 1 probe’s thruster issues, 24 billion kms from Earth in interstellar space, allowing it to communicate and gather data. Launched in 1977, Voyager 1 is the farthest object from Earth, using repurposed thrusters to continue its eternal space journey. Voyager 2, its twin, also in interstellar space, is heading towards other stars, with both expected to wander the Milky Way galaxy indefinitely.
