The SpaceX Polaris Dawn mission crew conducted the first-ever commercial spacewalk with commander Jared Isaacman and mission specialist Sarah Gillis exiting the Dragon spacecraft for an extravehicular activity. Pilot Scott Poteet and mission specialist Anna Menon remained inside the capsule to support the operation. All crew members were designated as “spacewalkers” as the capsule was depressurized for the outing.
