Accused In Rs 2,200-Crore Scam, Actor Sumi Borah Surrenders

Sumi Borah and her husband Tarkik Borah, accused in the Rs 2,200-crore stocks trading scam in Assam, surrendered to the police after Sumi claimed in a video that she was frustrated by the media trial and not absconding, but “hiding”. The husband-wife duo surrendered to authorities following the allegations, with Sumi being a choreographer and social media influencer in addition to her involvement in the trading case.
