France has revealed the five titles vying for its submission in the Best International Feature Film category at the 97th Academy Awards: “All We Imagine As Light” by Payal Kapadia, “The Count of Monte Cristo” by Alexandre de La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte, “Emilia Pérez” by Jacques Audiard, and “Misericorde” by Alain Guiraudie. This year’s selection process is overseen by a revamped committee, including the Venice Golden Lion winner, with strict adherence to guidelines set forth.
