A golden eagle in Norway attacked three people in a mountainous area, with one victim being a bicycle courier named Francis Ari Sture. The 31-year-old was scratched and clawed by the bird for 10 to 15 minutes as he sprinted down the mountain, mistaking the eagle for a human initially. The golden eagle was subsequently killed after the attacks, which are uncommon despite the bird’s presence in Norway.
