Spanish police seized nearly 3,000 litres of counterfeit olive oil, with an estimated value of €20,500 (£17,313), in Huelva. A recently released video shows Guardia Civil officials unpacking boxes containing the fake oil, which was intercepted from a vehicle coming from Portugal. Authorities discovered that the oils were being re-labeled with incorrect adhesive labels, indicating a large-scale operation of deception.
