Dr Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, is being investigated by the CBI for his alleged involvement in a criminal nexus with co-accused for wrongful gains, related to the rape and murder of a junior doctor and financial irregularities. The CBI has claimed that Ghosh had connections with two vendors and engaged in illegal activities during his time at the institution, as per submissions made to a special court in West Bengal.
